Rainford Pre School And Play Group Ltd Completes Step 3 towards becoming a Sun Safe Nursery - Teaching Resources & Activities

Congratulations to Rainford Pre School And Play Group Ltd for reading George the Sun Safe Superstar to all their children and introducing everyone to the ‘Slip, Slap, Slop song’.Rainford Pre School And Play Group Ltd have also pledged to continue to regularly use the resources provided to reinforce the sun safe message to their children.

Bowes Pre-School Completes Step 3 towards becoming a Sun Safe Nursery - Teaching Resources & Activities

Congratulations to Bowes Pre-School for reading George the Sun Safe Superstar to all their children and introducing everyone to the ‘Slip, Slap, Slop song’.Bowes Pre-School have also pledged to continue to regularly use the resources provided to reinforce the sun safe message to their children.

Lewannick Preschool Completes Step 1 towards becoming a Sun Safe Nursery - Sun Hats, Sunscreen & Role Models

Congratulations to Lewannick Preschool for issuing Sun Safety Fact Sheets to all their pupils. Lewannick Preschool has also pledged to keep sun hats and sunscreen available for all their children and to act as role models with regard to sun safety:

Golftyn CP School Completes Step 3 towards becoming a Sun Safe School - Introductory Assembly Plan

“I have three large trees that provide quite a bit of shade in the garden. I have a sun umberella over the sandtray and a large sandpit that is fully covered and shaded from the sun. The mud kitchen is also shaded from the sun. I have two play houses and a tent in the garden that provide shady places to play.”

“We have worked hard to ensure there is plentiful shade in our playground which is south facing at the front of the school. We have a stage area which we shade in summer months, we have seating under a large tree in one corner of the playground and we have recently had shade sails built to add additional shade - funded by the parents.”
